Hinsdale
Hinsdale, a historic community founded in 1862, offers elegant homes, tree-lined streets and a refined lifestyle. An active community, Hinsdale has 18 local parks that feature tennis, swimming, walking, picnicking and a host of other recreational activities. A bicycle path encircles the village.
Hinsdale's charming downtown area is the site of parades, festivals and a summer-long farmer's market. The annual Fourth of July parade and the arts and crafts fair are longstanding summer traditions around which families plan extensive weekend get-togethers. In addition, the bustling business district boasts several restaurants and first-rate shopping that includes boutiques as well as better-known retailers. Oakbrook Shopping Center, a premier outdoor retail center, is just 10 minutes from the village.
Located less than 15 miles west of downtown Chicago, Hinsdale gives residents immediate access to the city via the Burlington Northern Railroad and the area's major interstate highways, including the East-West Tollway (I-88), the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and the Stevenson Expressway ( I-55). Children in Hinsdale attend top-notch schools, District 181 for grade school and 86 for high school.

West of Chicago sits a community that epitomizes small-town charm. Nestled between Westmont and Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills provides a safe and nurturing family-focused environment. Children play in the yards and splash at the community pool.
Founded in 1860, Clarendon Hills features a variety of home styles ranging from Victorians to ranches to Cape Cods to Colonials. Quality schools are one of the village's strengths. The two elementary schools are part of Hinsdale Community School District 181, and high school age students attend Hinsdale Central Community High School in District 86.
